Duo Marsden & Richardson, most known for their work as Band Of Skulls, have dropped their second single, ‘Oh Forgiveness’, and its accompanying video. Musically, the track fits in with the pair’s intention to contrast the intensity of Band of Skulls with warm, laid-back vibes. They do that here through mellow acoustic guitars, brushed drums and delicately-placed piano and vocal harmonies. “In the past, often we wrote a song and then just turned it into this loud thing,” they explain. “This is the first time that we've written songs like this and not converted them into rock and roll songs.” The brand-new music video combines a simple shot of the pair sorting through instruments and photographs with layered lyrics. -Dan Peeke
